From the Quran

رَبَّنَآ أَفۡرِغۡ عَلَيۡنَا صَبۡرٗا وَثَبِّتۡ أَقۡدَامَنَا وَٱنصُرۡنَا عَلَى ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ

Rabbanā afrigh ʿalaynā ṣabran wa thabbit aqdāmanā wanṣurnā ʿalal-qawmil-kāfirīn.

Our Lord, pour upon us patience, make our feet firm, and give us victory over the disbelieving people.

[ Surah Al-Baqara 2:250 ]

حَسۡبُنَا ٱللَّهُ وَنِعۡمَ ٱلۡوَكِيلُ

Ḥasbunallāhu wa niʿmal-wakīl.

Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs.

Said by Ibrahim when he was cast into the fire, and by the Prophet and his companions when they were warned that an army had gathered against them. (Sahih al-Bukhari 4563)

[ Surah Aal-i-Imraan 3:173 ]

رَبَّنَآ أَفۡرِغۡ عَلَيۡنَا صَبۡرٗا وَتَوَفَّنَا مُسۡلِمِينَ

Rabbanā afrigh ʿalaynā ṣabran wa tawaffanā muslimīn.

Our Lord, pour upon us patience and let us die as Muslims.

Said by The magicians of Pharaoh

[ Surah Al-A'raaf 7:126 ]

حَسۡبِيَ ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَۖ عَلَيۡهِ تَوَكَّلۡتُۖ وَهُوَ رَبُّ ٱلۡعَرۡشِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ

Ḥasbiyallāhu lā ilāha illā Huwa, ʿalayhi tawakkaltu wa Huwa Rabbul-ʿArshil-ʿaẓīm.

Sufficient for me is Allah; there is no deity except Him. On Him I have relied, and He is the Lord of the Great Throne.

Whoever says it seven times morning and evening, Allah suffices him in whatever worries him. (Sunan Abi Dawud 5081)

[ Surah At-Tawba 9:129 ]

أَنِّي مَسَّنِيَ ٱلضُّرُّ وَأَنتَ أَرۡحَمُ ٱلرَّٰحِمِينَ

Annī massaniyaḍ-ḍurru wa Anta arḥamur-rāḥimīn.

Adversity has truly touched me, and You are the most merciful of the merciful.

Said by Prophet Ayyub

[ Surah Al-Anbiyaa 21:83 ]

وَأُفَوِّضُ أَمۡرِيٓ إِلَى ٱللَّهِۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بَصِيرُۢ بِٱلۡعِبَادِ

Wa ufawwiḍu amrī ilallāh, innallāha Baṣīrun bil-ʿibād.

And I entrust my affair to Allah. Indeed, Allah is Seeing of His servants.

[ Surah Ghafir 40:44 ]

رَّبَّنَا عَلَيۡكَ تَوَكَّلۡنَا وَإِلَيۡكَ أَنَبۡنَا وَإِلَيۡكَ ٱلۡمَصِيرُ

Rabbanā ʿalayka tawakkalnā wa ilayka anabnā wa ilaykal-maṣīr.

Our Lord, upon You we have relied, and to You we have turned, and to You is the final destination.

[ Surah Al-Mumtahana 60:4 ]

Upon seeing someone in trial or tribulation

دعاء من رأى مبتلى
الْحَمْـدُ للهِ الّذي عافاني مِمّا ابْتَـلاكَ بِهِ، وَفَضَّلَـني عَلى كَثيـرٍ مِمَّنْ خَلَـقَ تَفْضـيلا

Alhamdu lillāhi ‘l-ladhī `āfānī mimmab-talāka bihi wa faḍḍalanī `alā kathīrin mimman khalaqa tafḍīlā.

Praise is to Allah Who has spared me what He has afflicted you with, and preferred me greatly above much of what He has created.
